The Canela Tree, also known as the cinnamon plant, is related to the culinary cinnamon we know and love. In fact, bruising the leaves or stems of the Canella Tree can actually produce a faint cinnamon scent. It is characterized by its glossy, oval leaves, and its resilient nature as an indoor houseplant.
Plant Care
- Light: medium to bright light
- Water: water when soil is mostly died out. Doesn’t like long periods of completely dry soil.
- Additionally: A well maintained tree will grow over 10’ tall
