
Commonly called Elephant ears, they are grown for their spectacular foliage. Regardless of the word ‘black’ in its name, the black elephant ear has dark purple foliage that is so dark, that it could be mistaken as black under some lighting.
Plant Care
- Light: Bright indirect sunlight
- Water: Keep soil moist. Water when top of soil is dry. Requires high humidity.
- Additionally: Common for the plant to die back in winter.
