The prayer plant has wide, green oval-shaped, leaves with splashes of yellow/white variegation and red markings. It’s named for its unique habit of raising their leaves to an upright position at nighttime that looks like hands during prayer.
Plant Care
- Light: medium to bright indirect light
- Water: Water when the top 1-2" of soil feels dry. Mist regularly. Does not tolerate drought.
- Additionally: Remove any yellow leaves to keep your plant strong and growing. Can be sensitive to hard tap water. Try using filtered water or leaving water out overnight before using.
