Supplier - Backyard Berry Plants
This wild, lowbush blueberry was originally collected in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The weather along the southern shores of Lake Superior can be harsh, and exposure on the mountain increases the hardships for plants. Leslie came from a robust population. Berries are sweet, plentiful, and of the wild size (small). Height in cultivation is about 12-16″ tall and very compact and bushy. Beautiful green foliage in summer and deep burgundy red for fall color with leaves held for a long time in the fall. Tolerates partial shade but will be most productive in full sun.
