Whether you’re new to gardening or looking to refine your skills, this hands-on series will guide you through the entire process—from preparing your space to planting seeds for spring.

Class #1: Preparing Your Site For A Garden
Date: December 11th at 7PM

Winter is the perfect time to prepare for next year’s garden! In this class, we’ll explore the fundamentals of your garden site—like soil health, light levels, and microclimates—to set you up for success come spring. Learn how to assess your space and make informed decisions that will lead to thriving plants and productive beds.
Class #2: Choosing What To Plant
Date: January 8th at 7PM
Included Materials: Graph paper notebook and a 12-pack of colored pencils
This is the place to play! In this session, we’ll focus on designing your dream garden—whether you’re growing for beauty, food, or pollinators. We’ll explore plant types, spacing, timing, and succession planting, and you’ll leave with a detailed, personalized garden plan ready to bring to life in the spring.
Class #3: Seed Starting 101
Date: February 12th at 7PM
Included Materials: 2 packs of seeds and a seed starting tray with humidity dome (you’ll take home your planted seeds!)
Growing your plants from seed is one of the most cost-effective and rewarding ways to fill your beds. In this class, Amy will walk you through the basics of seed starting—soil, light, timing, and temperature—so you can grow healthy, strong seedlings. You’ll get hands-on experience planting reliable varieties that are sure to germinate and thrive.
