Every plant owner runs into problems at some point — and learning how to spot issues early can make all the difference. In this class, we’ll learn how to read the most common signs of plant stress and understand what your plant is trying to tell you. We’ll cover how to recognize watering issues, lighting problems, humidity stress, and nutrient deficiencies, along with how to check roots safely and understand root rot. We’ll also introduce the most common houseplant pests — including fungus gnats, spider mites, thrips, mealybugs, scale, and aphids — and walk through simple, effective treatment options and prevention tips. Each participant will receive a take-home pest identification guide to help you care for your plants with confidence. Perfect for anyone who has ever wondered why their plant isn’t thriving or how to fix a struggling plant.

Shipping FAQ's

Question - Why do I get the message "We do not ship to this destination" when trying to check out?

Answer - We don't ship every plant and product variety in store. Some items are too large and some are too sensitive to ship in the mail. You are getting that message because we don't ship one of the products in your order. More than likely there is a plant or pot that is too large to ship.

Question - Do you ship plants in the colder months?

Answer - Yes we do. We do charge an additional $3 handling fee in addition to our normal shipping and handling fees from November 1 to March 1 to cover the cost of heat packs to keep the plants warm during shipment. That fee will be added automatically into the shipping fee you see charged when checking out. We do advise you to take your plant inside as soon as possible upon delivery to avoid potential damage.

Question - Is it safe to ship plants?

Answer - We do our best to ship with the proper packing materials to keep the plant(s) in as safe a shipping environment as possible. The majority of the time, plants will ship just fine.

Question - What if I have a problem with my plant upon arrival?

Answer - Email us within 7 days of your plant arriving if you have any significant damage to your plant during shipping. We will ask for some photos to show the damage, and then we can issue a refund. After 7 days, we are not able to issue a refund. Non-plants have up to 30 days for a refund.
