Authors:
Renowned botanist, soil balance and moisture expert, plant psychological enthusiast, and five-time recipient of Plant Weekly's "Most Emotionally Balanced Garden" award, Carlyle Christoff is considered by many in the Botano-psychological community to be "the voice" on plant thoughts and behaviors.

A lifetime lover of books, Elisabeth Saake has devoted most of her working life to publishing.

Discover the cheeky musings of your houseplants in this quirky little gift book--a delightful treat for plant enthusiasts who've ever felt those leafy side-eyes from their green companions.

Have you ever wondered if your houseplants are silently judging you?

Maybe you think you and your leafy companions are happily cohabitating. Maybe you bought them on a whim and forgot to water them for a week. Or maybe... things are a little more twisted.

Houseplants and Their F*cked-Up Thoughts is a laugh-out-loud, illustrated gift book that imagines what your favorite ferns, succulents, and tropicals are really thinking--and it's not pretty. Maybe your fiddle-leaf fig finds you pathetic. Your majesty palm is deeply disdainful. And is it possible your philodendron has been eyeing your man?

Packed with witty one-liners and hilariously relatable plant humor, this funny houseplant book is perfect for anyone who talks to their plants--and suspects they're talking back. With sharp captions and vibrant plant portraits, it's the ultimate present for the plant parent, plant killer, or green-thumbed goddess in your life.

Just because your plants can't speak doesn't mean they don't have a lot to say. Open this book... if you dare.

Shipping FAQ's

Question - Why do I get the message "We do not ship to this destination" when trying to check out?

Answer - We don't ship every plant and product variety in store. Some items are too large and some are too sensitive to ship in the mail. You are getting that message because we don't ship one of the products in your order. More than likely there is a plant or pot that is too large to ship.

Question - Do you ship plants in the colder months?

Answer - Yes we do. We do charge an additional $3 handling fee in addition to our normal shipping and handling fees from November 1 to March 1 to cover the cost of heat packs to keep the plants warm during shipment. That fee will be added automatically into the shipping fee you see charged when checking out. We do advise you to take your plant inside as soon as possible upon delivery to avoid potential damage.

Question - Is it safe to ship plants?

Answer - We do our best to ship with the proper packing materials to keep the plant(s) in as safe a shipping environment as possible. The majority of the time, plants will ship just fine.

Question - What if I have a problem with my plant upon arrival?

Answer - Email us within 7 days of your plant arriving if you have any significant damage to your plant during shipping. We will ask for some photos to show the damage, and then we can issue a refund. After 7 days, we are not able to issue a refund. Non-plants have up to 30 days for a refund.
